“Yes, it’s been going on for a long time now, and I simply can’t take it anymore – the lies, the cheating, the sneaking around.  I simply can’t choose between the two of you, and it’s gotten so bad that I have to confess. Please don’t make me choose:  wheat bread/white bread; ham sandwich/turkey sandwich; green olives/black olives, American cheese/Swiss cheese – Why Do You Hate Me So?!”  LOL! You thought I was talking about something else didn’t ya’?  GOTCHA!

Well, life is full of choices and when it comes to putting together a food event, contemplating on which event to participate in or what foods to incorporate for a group of people, you have to make an executive decision otherwise all types of noise will clutter your brain and there’s no time for confusion.

In today’s market, the food industry is far from it’s peak, because people not only love to eat but they “have to eat.”  However, in order to maintain your status, you have to be one’s food choice.  You have to be what people want.

If you have a taco stand, trust me when I say the neighbor down the street has a taco stand.  At these food festivals, everyone has hamburger or chicken.  The question is which tacos, hamburgers or chicken are people talking about? Let me give you a nugget here: The cheapest form of advertisement is WORD OF MOUTH.

So your goal is to get people talking about YOU!  How do you do that….by making yourself seen and producing great food and service.  I always tell people, no matter what you do, from launching a book to opening a restaurant, launching a food truck, or releasing a CD, it requires getting you and your brand out there.

For this reason, in my world of event planning/production, beyond the glitz and glamour of Hollywood lies a vast network of neighboring towns and communities that make up the heart of the nation and they’re in need of events that cater to them.  I constantly have to do research and come up with new ideas.  I have to have a team who has my heart and are innovators.

You need the same, too in order to run anything successfully.  You wouldn’t still be reading, if you weren’t a little bit curious.

I’m excited about a webinar on the 8th of November where I will have the opportunity to spend more time with you, and show you how to stay at the top of your food chain.

*This webinar is crafted for those in the food industry, including but not limited to food truck owners, chefs, caterers, servers, bartenders, aspiring students in the culinary arts.  Stitches ‘n Dishes readers can register before November 1st for the discounted rate of $30.00.

After November 1st, the fee is $49.95 (a value of $150.00).  You’ll get my personal recipe for:

  1. how to build key relationships with media and people in the industry;
  2. strategically finding the right location(event local) that’s good for business, demographics mean everything;
  3. social media and its design to get you exposed to the masses for free;
  4. how to keep the buzz going about YOU!

Go to the link: http://lwspecialeventsfoodfest.eventbrite.com. At the end of the day, we all want to be successful at what we do.  You have the gift to produce great tasting foods. I have the gift of producing awesome gatherings.  This is my confession… the egg or the chicken… I really don’t know which came first!  HAPPY COOKING!

This webinar will be moderated by Christopher Ford, marketing and PR consultant, Co-Founder of Stitches n’ Dishes, and media correspondent for Food Network’s hit TV series, Eat Street.
